At the start of the season, or when pool is freshly filled, condition your pool with the use of stabilizer. This conditioner acts like an invisible umbrella in the water, setting up a screen to protect the chlorine in the pool against the ultraviolet rays of the sun. Water which has not been conditioned rapidly loses its chlorine through decomposition.
Stabilizer - Water Conditioner 850g
One treatment lasts the lifetime of the water
Directions:
One capful holds approximately 30 g of stabilizer. 850 g of stabilizer will effectively treat 50,000 liters and leave a residual of 20 ppm (parts per million). Simply add the required amount through the pool skimmer. Stabilizer is completely soluble. However, it takes up to 48 hours to dissolve. Do not backwash the filter for 48 hours after adding stabilizer. If the pool is not equipped with a skimmer, simply add the required amount to the water in a clean plastic pail, stir thoroughly, and pour the mixture into the deep end of your pool. Always add chemicals to the water, never water to the chemicals. Adjust pH level to 7.2 - 7.8. If it falls below 7.2 add pH UP and if it is above 7.8 add pH DOWN. Do this according to directions on the labels.
After Conditioning: Simply add stabilized chlorine products as directed. Test pool frequently using recommended test kits and methods.
